ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Conference on SHared e-bikes and Integration with Public Transport (SHIPT) aims to bring together leading academics, practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts from around the globe. The conference will provide a platform for sharing knowledge, presenting groundbreaking research, and discussing practical solutions for integrating shared e-bicycles into public transport systems. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions, network with peers, contribute to shaping the future of urban transportation, and disseminate their research in a peer-reviewed journal. The conference is conducted as an inception to the ICSSR's Vision Viksit Bharat@2047 sponsored research project entitled “Commuter-Centric Mobile Application for Public Electric Bicycle Sharing System (CC-MAP)". The project is taken up as a collaboration project by BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus, IIT Bombay, IIT BHU, Varanasi and NATPAC, Kerala. The collaborative project plans to develop a novel mobile application for Public E-Bike sharing scheme specifically focusing at Public Transportation Integration. The conference looks to bring together relevant ideas and include the key takeaways from the conference paper presentations and panel discussions as a key input to the consequent research.
